Comic Fusion Update

The website is going well. We are sending out something like 30-40 packages this week! [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

We now have enough stuff in stock to get immediate orders and more people are pre-ordering *before* we have to place our orders. Meaning it's more likely we won't get shorted when the time comes for delivery.

And something cool is happening. We carry a lot of independants. And some of the Independant Artists/Writers are finding us and putting links up at thier websites to direct people to us to buy thier books. And I think that is too cool!

For those of you having trouble getting books outside the US, we do ship internationally and accept Paypal as payment.

Next week we will be adding more pre-orders. I just got the new catalog today.

Well, I can't quit my full time job yet. We are at that in-between time where there is so much work, but not enough profit.

But I think as a business, it is growing at the right rate. I see a lot of positives, like the links from various sites. One site linked to us for these Drinky Crow Jack in a Boxes and we sold 10 of them. It was initially frustrating, because we would get a bunch of orders for a item, but since we back-ordered it after it was initially available, we wouldn't get them. Now that people are putting in orders before we have to place our order, we are getting more of them in.

The way comic shops work is that they order items two months or more in advance (comics tend to be two months, statues and such are usually longer).

The business is owned by my roomate. When we start to make a profit, my portion of the profit will go into buying me into co-ownership.
